Title：Local deformation rings and their singularities

Abstract：In this talk I will recall the definition of universal deformation rings of Galois representations of p-adic fields, and review the results on their structure proved with Boeckle, Iyengar and Quast. I will also expose the results obtained by my PhD student Hind Souly in her recent thesis. She shows that the special fibres of irreducible components of local deformation rings are strongly F-regular, and hence F-rational, in many cases, by relating them to the zero fibre of the moment map for representation of quivers.
About the speaker：Vytautas Paškūnas现任德国杜伊斯堡-埃森大学数学系教授，是国际知名的数论与表示论学者，主要从事 p进朗兰兹纲领、p进表示论、伽罗瓦表示及其形变理论等方面的研究，其研究成果发表于Publ.Math.l’IHES, Duke Math.J., Forum Math. Pi, Comp.Math.等国际著名期刊。Paškūnas教授于1996至2000年在英国剑桥大学学习数学，于2003年在诺丁汉大学获得博士学位，从2004年起在德国比勒菲尔德大学从事研究工作，从2011年起在德国杜伊斯堡-埃森大学任教授。
