Abstract: Let $P$ be a permutohedron with a Weyl group $W$ acting on it. The quotient $P/W$ can be identified with another polytope within $P$. Associated with these polytopes are toric varieties $X_P$ and $X_{P/W}$. We will show that $X_P/W$ and $X_{P/W}$ are equivalent in terms of cohomology, topology, and geometry. However, these equivalences do not hold for real points; instead, the quotient $X_P^{\R}/W$ of real points is contractible.
