摘要：Langlands's theory of endoscopy describes fine internal structures of representations of real Lie groups and p-adic reductive groups, as well as automorphic representations. In this talk, I will describe this theory in the case of the group SL(2) from both harmonic analytic and number theoretic perspective. I will also explain how it can be related to the geometry of the Hitchin fibration.
