Visa Letter
You may request an invitation letter for Chinese visa application in the workshop registration form, or by directly writing to one of the local organizers.
Please note that China currently offers temporary visa-free entry for citizens of many countries in Europe, Asia and America. Please kindly check the policy before requesting the letter.

The organizers will help arrange accommodation within walking distance of the workshop venue, at the following hotel, for some non-local participants at a discounted price:

Transportation
Flight
Harbin Taiping International Airport offers direct flights to major airports in East Asia and the Russian Far East, as well as convenient connections to most major cities in China.
From Airport to Downtown:
The most convenient way to reach the city center from the airport is by taxi, costing approximately 100–140 CNY. To take a taxi, please proceed to Gate 3 of Terminal 2 after exiting the baggage claim area. Once outside the gate, you will see a queue of taxis. Simply follow the staff's directions and board the first available taxi. Please show the driver your destination address in Chinese:

Taxis in Harbin accept payment via Alipay, WeChat, or cash in CNY (see the section below for payment services in China). If paying in cash, please prepare some small change. Please note that bank cards are not accepted.
Train
The main train stations in Harbin are Harbin Railway Station and Harbinxi (Harbin West) Railway Station. They offer convenient high-speed rail connections to Beijing, Tianjin, and Northeast China. Metro, bus, and taxi services are readily available to downtown and the university.

Payment Tips for Harbin
- International cards (Visa/Mastercard) may not work everywhere. However, there are ATMs in and around the campus that accept international cards for cash withdrawals — simply look for the Visa or Mastercard logo.
- Currency exchange services are available at the airport and at several banks in and around the campus — just look for the clearly marked 'EXCHANGE' sign.
- Mobile payments via Alipay or WeChat are the most widely used payment methods in China. See the setup guides below:
