Abstract: This talk is concerned with the 2D compressible Navier-Stokes equations for barotropic fluids. The global regularity of strong solutions with large data and vacuum is shown, provided the bulk viscosity is suitably large. The temporal-spatial asymptotic behavior of global solutions is also obtained. Then, as the bulk viscosity coefficient tends to infinity, the incompressible limit with an explicit rate of convergence is justified, based on some new temporal-spatial weighted analysis.
