Title:Chow trace of 1-motives and the Lang-Neron groups

Abstract: We will start with the celebrated Mordell-Weil theorem, and introduce a relative version, i.e., the Lang-Neron theorem. Then we give a motivic explanation of these notions and give a generalisation of the Lang-Neron theorem to certain Deligne 1-motives.
