Abstract: In this talk, I will mainly present fundamental ideas from topological dynamical systems (more generally, topological groupoids) to study the structure theory of C*-algebras and construct interesting groups such as topological full groups with certain geometric properties. In particular, I will discuss how to apply certain dynamical regularity properties to the objects above and present several of my results in these directions.
