Abstract:Generalized affine Grassmannian slices are affine varieties introduced by Braverman, Finkelberg and Nakajima, and they show that these varieties are Coulomb branches of 3d N=4 quiver gauge theories. It has a natural stratification by the so-called “monopole bubbling” structure. BFN conjectured that there is a nice description of the transversal slice of these strata. In this talk I will review the definition of generalized affine Grassmannian slices, and its stratification, and then explain my proof of the aforementioned conjecture of BFN.
