Abstract：For a locally compact group G the space of left translation invariant operators, or multipliers on L^p(G) (1 ≤ p < ∞) is denoted by M_p(G). L^p(G) is endowed with its canonical operator space structure that is induced by complex interpolation. The space of completely bounded multipliers is denoted by M_p^cb(G). Pisier first showed that if G is compact abelian then M_p^cb(G) ⊊ M_p(G) for p ≠ 1, 2. Later on this result was extended to other groups. In this talk we will address the characterisation problem of M_p^cb(G) in terms of its pre-dual and some sharp inclusion results between M_p^cb(G) for different p’s for abelian G.
