Abstract：Some results on Young's inequality for noncommutative cases will be presented. Part of work is joint with Chunlan Jiang, Zhengwei Liu, Simeng Wang. In precise, we will prove Young's inequality for finite index subfactors and locally compact quantum groups. Furthermore, we will apply the work on uncertainty principles and sum set theorems to characterize the extremal pairs of Young's inequality for finite index subfactors and Kac algebras.
