Abstract: In this talk, we mainly discuss some new advances concerning the Johnson-Schechtman inequalities in the setting of freely independent random variables, noncommutative martingales and in the setting of noncommutative random variables independent in the sense of Junge-Xu. These are some joint works with Fedor Sukochev, Guangheng Xie, Dmitriy Zanin and Dejian Zhou.
